Cilvia Jones, recognized at an early age what moved her! After working many unfulfilling jobs, Cilvia journey led her back full circle to her childhood memories of drawing, redesigning her bedroom countless times, making things out of the surrounding resources and exploring nature. On the path of self-discovery and finding her purpose in life, Cilvia took action and implemented a creative design driven business that would address and encompass all the components that are important to her and the well-being of others. She believes that our interaction with design, art and nature is inevitable on a daily basis. She set a goal of bringing her true love of interior design, art, and environmental awareness into her business culture.

Cilvia late maternal grandparents whose name was James & Mollie would be the inspiration for JaMollie Designs in 2009.

 

As an elementary art teacher by day, artist and interior designer by night. Cilvia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication from Virginia State University and Master of Fine Arts degree in Interior Environments from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her educational experience has allowed her to be the recipient of several art awards. Cilvia has had the opportunity to live, travel & study abroad in Europe. Having an extensive design background. Cilvia is able to present herself as a multifaceted designer in the interior design & art arena where she continues to cultivate her skills as a professional.
